So it&#39;s kind of funny that you brought this up. I&#39;m single at the moment so I don&#39;t have to deal with this but I will say that I can understand and even agree with being in a relationship and still wanting to be with someone else physically and it not be or become emotional. <br />And despite majority opinion, it is something you choose to feel if you become emotionally involved with someone. Otherwise if it wasn&#39;t a choice to have emotional feelings for someone you would have automatically have those feelings for that person from birth and need it to survive (like breathing). <br />Because of this you can also choose who you are attracted to physically. Now being satisfied with your partner physically and emotionally does not mean that you can&#39;t and won’t be physically attracted to someone else. If that were the case then no one would be dating and/or married and still think certain celebs and models were beautiful. And besides no matter who the person is or how much you &quot;love&quot; them they will not satisfy you in all areas 100%. And just like you can be physically attracted to more than one person you can be emotionally attached as well. And no sexual acts have to ever occur or happen for you to still have feelings for that person. <br />This means that the inverse is possible as well. Where you are having sexual relations with someone and it’s only physical with no emotional attachment involved. And it becomes a task that is also fulfilling (just like snacking before/after a meal). Not everybody does it nor need to do it because it’s a choice to do it or not. And just because you are dating someone doesn’t mean you are in a binding contract to be emotionally or even physically exclusive, dependent, and controlled by someone else. It’s just the norm in our society to choose to do so and follow such regulations. It’s all relative to how you view and think about it.
